Fees & Charges
Every charge that can appear on a booking, who collects it, and when it is quoted to you.
How we quote
No charge is applied without being quoted to you first. Before any payment is taken, a specialist states the total amount, breaks it into the supplier’s price and any service fee, and confirms it in writing.
There is no fee for requesting a quote, and no fee for a reservation you decide not to proceed with.
Booking service fee
Standard reservations made by phone carry no Flightsaverz booking fee. Where a complex itinerary requires manual construction — multi-city routings, mixed-airline tickets, group bookings — a service fee may apply and is quoted before ticketing.
Changes and exchanges
Three separate amounts can apply to a change: the supplier’s own change fee, any fare or rate difference, and a Flightsaverz exchange-handling fee. All three are quoted together as a single total before we action anything.
Where a fare is non-changeable, no fee can make it changeable; we will tell you that rather than charging to try.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are set by the supplier’s fare or rate rules. Where a refund is permitted, a Flightsaverz processing fee may be deducted from the amount returned, and is disclosed before we file the request.

Charges collected by the supplier
The following are collected by the airline, hotel, cruise line or rental company, not by us, and are outside our control:
- Seat selection, extra legroom and priority boarding
- Checked, excess, overweight and oversized baggage
- Airport taxes, carrier-imposed surcharges and government fees
- Hotel city taxes, resort fees, parking and early check-in
- Car-hire insurance, excess reduction, young-driver and one-way fees
- Cruise gratuities, port charges and onboard packages
Payment and currency
Payments are taken in US dollars unless otherwise agreed. Where your card is issued in another currency, your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign-transaction fee, neither of which we receive or control.
Card payments may appear on your statement as one charge or several, depending on how the supplier tickets the booking. The total will match the amount you approved.
Pricing errors
If an obvious pricing error occurs — for example a technical fault producing an impossible fare — we will contact you before ticketing to offer the correct price or a full release from the booking. We will not charge the corrected amount without your agreement.
